ROTC Flagship Initiative
Building on the success of The Language Flagship program and the Project Global Officers (Project GO) initiative, NSEP launched the ROTC Flagship initiative in 2011. This initiative seeks to address strategic language and cultural needs for future U.S. military officers by increasing the number of ROTC students achieving professional-level proficiency (ILR Level 3) in languages critical to national security. ROTC Flagship students fulfill all ROTC requirements and complete academic majors such as international affairs, regional studies, science and technology, engineering, and other relevant fields.
